Work
I create systems of support for values-driven organizations, allowing communities to focus on their most important work. This often looks like streamlining business operations, making them both more humane and more effective. I use automation and thoughtful data systems to help people feel less mired in unnecessary tedium often forced on us by the bureaucracies we must navigate.
I've built operational systems and teams for nonprofit organizations, most recently one that grew from nothing to $20m of revenue in six years. I've been a core contributor on open-source projects aiming to change how data is shared. I've contributed to published research on the statistics of neighborhoods and the topology of city development.
Connecting all my work is the challenges that lie at the intersections of people and technology.
